Monochromatic florals can still be interesting when you play with textures

The floral compositions for the shoot were exclusively composed of flowers chosen for their pure white color: the phaleno orchid was the main flower, accompanied by white roses, thistle, lisuanthus, and peonies. A discreet touch of green throughout was a gentle reminder of the verdant gardens of the Château. To create contrast, the designers chose to incorporate the opposite color in very small touches; for example, the groom’s tuxedo was black to allow the bridal gowns and bouquets to pop.

A minimalist ceremony setting with all-white chairs was the perfect, clean backdrop to continue the use of bright jewel tone flowers and casual blue drapery. Ensuring the groom also wore a light-colored linen suit let the colors pop without an ounce of distraction. Of course, even the jewel-toned flowers couldn’t outshine the bride’s natural makeup, sleek ponytail, chandelier earrings, and tulle ballgown with detachable sleeves.

Create a unique custom table runner by including a meaningful piece of writing

While the jewel tones were still present at the reception table, they were muted slightly by the use of greenery paired with candles and string lights. The table was personalized in a unique way through a table runner made of a scroll with custom writing on it. If you’re looking for special ways to customize your wedding that might not be totally mainstream, this is a great way to do so!

Hanging flowers and velvet furniture can bring style to your venue space from top to bottom

The velvet furniture in this staging carried through the pops of color from the ceremony, as well as provided a super cute, Instagram-able setup for cocktail hour. Aude’s photographic style is an unique combination of bright, joyful photography and fine art photography style. A historical venue can be beautifully modern with the right design plan

The aim of this shoot was to bring high fashion to a chateau made up of ancient structures dating back to the 12th century, blending timeless French history with modern bridal couture. Justine and Aude aimed to celebrate contemporary brides who also care for tradition. To emphasize this precise vibe, they chose a white backdrop accented by black details in order to focus on minimalist lines amidst a bright, joyful setting.

The bride, with hair and makeup beautifully done by Widnie Alexis, wore a Berta long couture dress for both the ceremony and dinner. She then changed into a short, festive dress by Milla Nova for cutting the wedding cake. While the dresses were rather minimalist, the accessories were anything but that! Jonidaripani‘s earrings added that pop of drama to the bridal look. The groom wore attire by Rives Paris, and of course both the bride and groom wore sunglasses, letting their fun personalities shine through. Their wedding rings by Atelier Noemie Briand fit the black and white design of the whole shoot, particularly the grey spinel of the engagement ring and the ebony of the groom’s ring.

Reception elegance comes from florals and place-settings that blend seamlessly

Justine Huette designed the wedding table with tableware from Maison Options and Vaisselle Vintage, as well as floral compositions by Veronique Lorre. The aim was to create a stunning frame for dinner, with pure lines and black details to exaggerate the color palette contrast. The wedding cake by Wedding Cakes and Co. followed suit with its airy and uncluttered design. Paying attention to every detail, Bonjour Paper created a delicate custom wedding stationery with a drawing of the venue, Chateau de la Houssiere, which is just a quick 1-hour trip away from Paris.

The incredible conservatory at Kilshane House in Tipperary, Ireland – with its impressive glass structure and tall lush greens – was stylist Fiona Morey’s (of Eve and Ever After) main inspiration for this shoot. It felt like the perfect location for layers of ethereal fabric draped from overhead and a thoughtful and rich curation of textured and natural elements mixed with monochrome touches. This shoot was a beautiful fusion of old and new brought together, lovingly and cohesively, by Fiona with the assistance of the wonderful Jill Hughes from Planned by a Pro .

The looks consisted of a combination of modern, stylish, and eye-catching designs by Made with Love Bridal, Katya Katya London, and Caroline Takvorian from Galway-based boutique, Vintage Pearl Bridal. Each look was paired with unique and bold accessories, such as an ostrich feather headpiece and a netted bow that was created specifically for the shoot by bridal accessories designer Caragh Quinn of Aura Bridalwear.

Hair styles included sleek ponytails, bridal buns, and a wavy half up do by the incredible Bridal Hair by Marie. A bronzed, dewy complexion with a subtle cat eye, fluffy brows, and a pinky nude and warmer coral lip was created by Sarah Dineen of Beauty Atelier. Each look was accessorized with gorgeous earrings from Maison Sabben and Irish-made jewellery studio, One Dame Lane.

Motion images are the wedding photos you didn’t know you absolutely need

Photographer Amy, also known as Rubistyle\, is known for ‘making weddings look like French movies,’ and she certainly did that here! The ruffled veil by Katya London provided some truly magical and breathtaking moments, and Amy had so much fun capturing incredible motion images of model Simona Va in “Hendrix” by Made with Love Bridal draped in this swoon-worthy statement piece. Later in the shoot, the ostrich head piece by Aura Bridalwear was the perfect bold accessory for the full lace Sonata gown from Katya London with its gorgeous square neckline and figure-hugging style.

Dresses – flown in for the shoot – brought all the French inspiration

French designer Caroline Takvorian’s dresses from her brand new 2023 collection were an exclusive for this shoot and were flown over especially for the day. The puffy sleeves, sensual necklines, and romantic beaded lace of this designer’s two piece and dress brought all the French chic to the shoot.

Autumnal tones created moody, romantic floral combinations

The flowers were inspired by the season, so that meant lots of gorgeous, autumnal tones. The incredible Tina McGrath (from The Wild Bunch) created a stunning, unstructured garland made up of cappuccino roses, sprayed gypsophila, and eucalyptus, along with some creamy white and speckled blush and burgundy carnations. The bouquet was a beautiful mix of fresh and dried flowers for added texture, tied with a dark brown velvet ribbon. For the outdoor shots, Tina created a gorgeous floral structure made up of fluffy fresh and dried florals in a similar style and palette to the table garland.

The reception tables included unique, romantic details (with quotes!)

The dining table was styled with flowing linens, ceramic plates and luxe glassware. French style patio chairs complemented the other black and white details, and layers of delicate tulle hung over the tablescape. There were limestone table numbers with white hand lettering and vellum menus with modern black script. A garland of fluffy florals in creamy whites with muted pink, nude, cream, brown and burgundy tones trailed across the center of the table –a gorgeous mix of fresh and dried for added texture. There were also hand-lettered taper candles with love quotes for that personal touch, mixed with pillars to create a warm and romantic ambience.

Did someone say cake? Why have one when you can have three!

A gorgeous trio of cakes (in different styles and heights) were created by the amazing Sigita Germanaviciute of Fern Cakery. Sigita’s signature style is these beautiful rough edges, and we just adore those abstract details and narrow, minimalist tiers adorned with carnations and sprayed gyps.

Quotes were included, but not overused

To compliment the overall tablescape design and aesthetic with more rich earthy tones, Freckles & Fern created this gorgeous russet shade with a memorable Atticus love quote: ‘Don’t promise to live forever, promise to forever live while you’re alive.’ They also created these lovely, modern vellum menus with a modern black script to tie in the other monochrome elements. Eleanor Curtin Calligraphy and Design created this hand lettered limestone ‘Bubbly Bar’ sign for the cocktail cart and table numbers, as well as the gorgeous tapered candles with the quote ‘Ever Mine, Ever Thine, Ever Ours’ in calligraphy on them for the tablescape.

A “bubbly bar” is the new champagne tower

The bali-esque bar is a recent addition to Kilshane House, so it was hard to resist a few fun shots of model Simona in front of it, wearing Ryder from Made with Love Bridal. The bar was styled with a limestone ‘Bubbly Bar’ sign by Eleanor Curtin Calligraphy and Design and a beautiful, bold arrangement by Tina from The Wild Bunch, which was made up of rust-sprayed gyps and cappuccino roses.

This amazing elopement shoot was giving all the moody Pacific Northwest vibes, taking place in Washington state in the Snoqualmie National Forest. From the hike up to the ceremony location, to the hike back down to a beautiful lake surrounded by mountains, this elopement shoot was full of the most adventurous and beautiful experiences. And it certainly didn’t hurt that when the couple got to the top of the mountain, they were surrounded by PNW fog, giving every photo an ethereal vibe that can’t be duplicated.

For the shoot, the bride wore an elegant, satin dress which was not only stunning on her, but was easy to pack in a backpack and hike with! The groom wore a navy suit with an eclectic, button up shirt and no tie — giving him a laid-back, dressy look. He tied his hair up, while the bride had a beautiful up-do with flower accents courtesy of Elle Marie Hair Studio, and a matching, earthy bouquet.

To prepare, the couple hiked up to the top of a nearby mountain peak where they helped each other change and get ready. The heavy fog and clouds started rolling in, which made it look like they were literally in the midst of the clouds and sky. They exchanged their vows at the top of the mountain, with a stunning view of the lake below.

A Jeep exit car helped carry their adventurous vibe carry all the way to the end of the day

After the vow exchange, the couple hiked back down the mountain and explored the lake below. The lake has unusual features like random tree stumps that are scattered around. They played among the stumps and looked up at the mountain peak where they had just wed. They ended their adventurous elopement with a quick Jeep celebration and rode off to live happily ever after!

The explosive energy on Julianna and Bjorn’s big day in Santorini was something that everyone felt as soon as they arrived. Their colorful elopement was truly a dream come true! This couple can best be described with the words: joy, smiles, and happiness, and the bright colors chosen as the foundational theme for their day portrayed just that. And what better location than the stunning white buildings of Santorini to feature these gorgeous summer colors. If you can believe it, they became just as – if not more – beautiful at sunset!

A venue at the heart of the island provided infinite variety, from cliffs to rooftop to seaside

El Viento Santorini is located exactly at the edge of Santorini Caldera in the heart of the island – it is an absolutely private heaven capable of also providing delicious catering for any event. Petran Art complemented the meal with a cake that was practically a work of art. The food (and everything else involved in bringing this concept to life) was accented by incredible summery floral installations and bouquets by Red Box Days.

Having a set of vendors that worked as a seamless team made all the difference

It was incredible teamwork that brought together the colorful floral arch and the magical landscape on the edge of the cliff at Santorini Caldera. The concept planning originated with Ellie Skourti from Hera’s Weddings, and Vivien Huss created the idea to capture unique images in such a professional editorial style.

Purposefully pairing the flowers and lighting created beautiful sets at all times of day

Every vendor involved in bringing the concept to life had hundreds of weddings in their portfolios, from the rental equipment courtesy of Weddings & Whimsy, to the art de la table from Spark Events. Spicy Bites Catering helped source specific furniture, Santorini Events provided unique lighting, and Idea Candles came through with beautiful candles for the sweetheart table.

A dress with some sparkle shone at noon, sunset, and night

Julianna’s sparkling dress from IamYours was complemented by the playful lights of the candles. Luckily the weather was on this couple’s side – the low humidity and clear sunny day kept the bride’s hair (by stylist Rena Skourti) and her naturally glamorous makeup (by artist Renia Bledaki) as perfect as absolutely possible. It was truly a romantic and vibrant night for this happy couple!

A dreamy location with a stunning view of the Eiffel Tower that wasn’t too accessible: a.k.a. a Paris rooftop!

Darina, the bride, is from Ukraine. She wore “Isis,” an amazing dress from Maite Bailleul, a French dress designer based in the north of France. The goal during this inspo shoot was to showcase the French know-how through her wonderful work. This dress exuded an elegant and wild vibe all at the same time. The groom, Julien, wore a Samson sur Mesure suit. The warm color contrasted with the cold winter temperatures and played with the color of the chimneys on the Parisian roofs.
